Our mission as a club will be to spread the values of our Lasallian teachings through technology and a great sense of community. For a better education of the youth in the field of robotics and engineering and to provide an easy mediation between the underprivileged kids in the local neighborhood and schools that would not have the opportunity to experience robotic systems. We would do this through the creation of easy electrical projects, coding lessons and the creation of event that will, teach children as well as them getting to see some cool robots.
As a club we want to reach out to those who don’t have the opportunity to experience the excitement of robotics. With projects ranging from working with local high school robotics to teaching small classes on campus arduino coding, we’ll be able to exercise our Lasallian values. Our future plans to design and build a makerspace here in Manhattan College will help us create a space for students to exercise their creative engineering.
